Hogan Family History

 If you click on the link below, you will find a brief and incomplete history of the Hogan family, beginning with Michael Hogan from Clonmel, County Tipperary, Ireland.

This history was first compiled and written in 1994 by Rosemary Driscoll, great-great-great granddaughter of Michael Hogan, for a course in Prince Edward Island history at the University of Prince Edward Island, Charlottetown, PEI.

Much of the information about Michael Hogan and his children was gleaned from documents collected by his granddaughter, Caryl R. Hogan who lived in San Francisco, California. The main focus of the paper was Michael Hogan's son, M. P. Hogan who was Rosemary's great-great grandfather. Much information about many other branches of the family may be missing or incorrect.

Some information was shared on a family tree created for a Hogan family reunion which took place in Charlottetown, PEI, August 5 - 7, 2016.
